The TOUGHBOOK 55 has the longest battery life of all Panasonic TOUGHBOOKs introduced so far. In addition, an optional second battery can be hot-swapped without turning off the unit. At the same time, the TOUGHBOOK 55 is the thinnest and lightest device in its class.

The TOUGHBOOK 55 uses the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and Intel vPro including Intel® Hardware Shield.

It is the first notebook to use tetra-array microphones for unparalleled accuracy in speech recognition. It’s also the first TOUGHBOOK with a USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.0 and Bluetooth 5.1. It also offers faster WLAN, improved speakers, more brightness and an optional backlit keyboard.
