With the opening of a new service center in Vienna, PWA Electronic is noticeably cutting response times for Austrian customers. Repair, replacement and on-site service for rugged tablets, notebooks and handhelds now run directly through the Vienna location — no detour via Munich.
Shorter paths, same standard
For years, PWA Electronic has served Austrian customers through its service network in Germany. With the notable growth of the Austrian customer base and rising expectations around speed and availability, the next logical step was a dedicated local service presence. The new team in Vienna bundles repair, replacement and parts diagnostics — with a direct line to engineering in Munich.
For existing customers, nothing changes about the familiar level of service. What's new is the speed: shipments from Austria no longer travel internationally but are handled directly in Vienna. For time-critical cases, the local team also coordinates on-site interventions at customer locations.
Services at the new location
- Repair and diagnostics for rugged mobile computing devices
- Replacement devices from the Austrian demo and loan pool
- On-site interventions for time-critical incidents
- Pre-configuration and rollout support for Austrian customers
- Personal consulting on integration and service contracts
Looking ahead
Over the course of the year, the Vienna service offering will gradually expand — including joint workshops with manufacturers, training sessions for IT leads, and field days for customers from the public sector. If you're interested, you can already sign up for the opening event at the Vienna location.
