Built for everyday field work

The DURABOOK R12 combines a large 12.2-inch display with a rugged tablet chassis. Plans, images and readings remain in view during maintenance, inspection and documentation. Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors and 16 to 64 GB of LPDDR5x memory support demanding applications. NVIDIA® RTX 2000 Ada graphics are available as an option.

The magnesium alloy chassis offers IP66 protection against dust and powerful water jets. The R12 is tested to MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G and withstands drops of up to 1.8 metres. Its operating temperature range is -29 °C to +63 °C. Weight starts at 1.45 kg, depending on configuration.

Flexible to operate.

The DynaVue® display provides 1,920 × 1,200 pixels and 1,200 nits of brightness for viewing information in bright ambient light. Its size provides room for technical drawings, checklists and on-site documentation.

The capacitive multi-touch screen supports fingers, gloves and a suitable stylus. A dedicated mode supports operation in wet conditions. A digitizer is available as an option.

Connections for your equipment

Two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port are built in, providing direct connections to peripherals and wired networks. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth® 6.0 are also included.

Optional expansion includes serial interfaces, a second LAN port, barcode scanners and card readers. Dedicated GPS and either 4G LTE or 5G are available for mobile connectivity.

From tablet to
mobile workstation

The optional detachable keyboard turns the R12 into a workstation for longer typing tasks. Remove it to return to tablet use in the field.

The standard battery provides up to 10 hours of operation and up to 20 hours with the optional high-capacity battery. An optional dual hot-swap battery system is also available.

TPM 2.0 and a 5 MP IR front camera with Windows Hello support secure access. A 13 MP rear camera is optional.
